This project was a renovation of an existing front entrance. The main obstacle was to direct guest towards the appropriate entrance, and mask the secondary "service" entrance. Tired patios, curbs and plantings were removed and construction began after design through to 3-D rendering. New natural stone walls and formalized square-cut flagstone direct focus to main entrance. Natural stone black banding and wall coping highlight areas and distinguish a mirror image on the ground of an upper arch detail on the face of the house. Black stone banding continues at the driveway to distinguish an arrival area within the circular entrance driveway. Low voltage lighting accents the wallstone and key plantings. Automated drip irrigation is installed throughout beds for efficient watering.
